Bait Casting Class
June 21-26, 2009
You have a choice of two "Educated Angler" packages based upon
how you want to fish. One is for the person who is primarily interested
in spin or bait casting tackle. While fly fishermen are welcome,
this class will focus primarily on using lures and baits, and fishing
from powerboats. This trip culminates in an
all day saltwater halibut trip in Cook Inlet.

Fly Fishing Class
August 2-7, 2009
The other package is for the fly fishing enthusiast, from beginner
to expert. You'll learn about little known fly-fishing techniques
for salmon and secrets to catching large Alaskan rainbows, Dolly
Vardon trout and grayling. The last days of this experience will
find you and your guide on the upper Kenai River in a drift boat
fishing for salmon. Floating and fishing this part of the river
is an experience you will never forget. See class curriculum for

Your Package Includes:
-20 hours of classroom/hands-on instruction
-Guided trips as detailed in the class curriculums
-Five days/five nights lodging
-Cabins situated on ten beautiful quiet wooded acres
-All meals
-Quality baitcasting and spin fishing equipment (Fly fishing
students must bring own equipment)
-Transportation to and from guided trips
-Dial-up Internet access from each unit or cabin
-Maximum of 12 students per class
Package does not include:
-Transportation to and from airport. Car rentals from nationwide
companies are available at the Kenai Municipal Airport.
-Fish filleting, processing, vacuum packing and boxing
-Fishing licenses and tags
-Refreshments
-Gratuities to staff
